In August 2024, the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SSA Qu\u00e9bec welcomed four Learning Health System (LHS) Leaders to its team. They will support the Unit’s projects to implement a learning Quebec healthcare system in their respective University Health and Social Services Networks (R\u00e9seaux universitaires de sant\u00e9 et de services sociaux also known as RUISSSs). Working closely with the scientific co-directors of their respective SSA-RUISSS teams, the LHS leaders will play a key role in facilitating the networking and mobilization of players in their field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The creation of these positions is intended to break down silos and make way for real partnership working in health and social services, and to promote the integration of science into practice, ultimately to deploy a Quebec-based LHS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrival of the LHS leaders will facilitate communication of the Unit’s strategic priorities and scientific programming to the RUISSSs, as well as collaboration with their human resources and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
