{"id":18809,"date":"2024-02-20T16:31:57","date_gmt":"2024-02-20T20:31:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssaquebec.wp.vortexdev.com?p=18809"},"modified":"2024-02-20T16:31:58","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T20:31:58","slug":"mnd-living-labs-innovation-in-research-to-facilitate-transitions-and-trajectories-for-people-living-with-a-major-neurocognitive-disorder-and-their-relatives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssaquebec.wp.vortexdev.com\/en\/news\/mnd-living-labs-innovation-in-research-to-facilitate-transitions-and-trajectories-for-people-living-with-a-major-neurocognitive-disorder-and-their-relatives\/","title":{"rendered":"MND Living Labs: Innovation in research to facilitate transitions and trajectories for people living with a major neurocognitive disorder and their relatives"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This grant program is offered by the Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 et des Services sociaux du Qu\u00e9bec (MSSS) in partnership with the Unit\u00e9 de soutien au syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 apprenant du Qu\u00e9bec (Unit\u00e9 de soutien SSA Qu\u00e9bec) and the Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec &#8211; Sant\u00e9 (FRQS).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4.75 MM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launched in September 2021 by the MSSS, the FRQ-S and the Unit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Objectives:<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improve the organization of care and services and facilitate transitions in the lives of people living with a major neurocognitive disorder and their families, from the moment of identification, in order to improve their living conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Empower people working in health and social services (care, management, community) to implement new practices or reinforce existing ones, for the benefit of these people and their loved ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Unit&#8217;s contribution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><br>As part of the Living Labs program on major neurocognitive disorders, the Unit helped the teams prepare their applications to ensure that they were in line with the perspective of a learning healthcare system and, more specifically, that they had all the tools they needed to integrate users into the definition and execution of their research project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Unit makes its expertise available to the selected teams throughout the implementation of their projects. Consulting expertise tailored to the projects and needs of the research teams is offered in the following areas, in particular:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learning Health System<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patient engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data Management Optimization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity Building<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health economics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data to knowledge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equity, diversity and inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indigenous Health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PREMs (<em>patient-reported experience measures<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PROMs (<em>patient-reported outcomes measures<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4 projects (1\/RUISSS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Here are the 4 improvement projects selected and supported by the Unit.
