These sites allow researchers to consult data in a highly secure setting. In March 2021, Quebec hosted CADRISQs in Montreal, Quebec City and Sherbrooke. <strong>The Unit is pleased that data from the TorSaDE cohort, <span class=\"JsGRdQ\">specifically designed to study the care trajectories of patients with sensitive conditions requiring ambulatory care,<\/span> has consequently become more accessible to the research community.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is TorSaDE?<\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/unitesoutiensrapqc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Logo_TorSaDE-300x192.png\" alt=\"Logo_TorSaDE\" class=\"wp-image-4144\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">TorSADE is a cohort specifically designed to study the care trajectories of patients with sensitive conditions requiring ambulatory care. This project is designed to make data on care trajectories of a cohort representative of the Quebec population available to researchers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\">The TorSaDE cohort consists of respondent data from various cycles of the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS), combined with their medical and administrative data for a 20-year period (from 1996 to 2016).<\/p>\n\n<p>With this project, we developed a TorSaDE-specific toolbox that includes:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La\u00a0<span lang=\"fr\">documentation sur les m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es concernant les variables disponibles;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">Une banque de donn\u00e9es fictive qui reproduit l\u2019ensemble des variables et de leur relation, mais dont les donn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 al\u00e9atoirement modifi\u00e9es pour tester la faisabilit\u00e9 des projets et la robustesse de la programmation des analyses pr\u00e9vues;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">Un r\u00e9pertoire des algorithmes de s\u00e9lection de cas pour les participants avec des CPSA;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">Une librairie de variables compos\u00e9es complexes pr\u00e9programm\u00e9es (ex. : indice de comorbidit\u00e9, indice de genre, continuit\u00e9 des soins, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">La documentation sur les diff\u00e9rentes m\u00e9thodes d\u2019analyse de s\u00e9quences pour l\u2019\u00e9tude des trajectoires de soins;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le mod\u00e8le conceptuel et op\u00e9rationnel \u00ab 6W \u00bb pour l\u2019analyse des trajectoires de soins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>To access this toolbox, you must become a member of the TorSaDE research community by submitting a <a href=\"https:\/\/unitesoutiensrapqc.ca\/faire-une-demande-de-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">service request to the Unit<\/a>.<br\/><span lang=\"fr\">Researchers using the TorSaDE cohort<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">Forment une communaut\u00e9 de pratique\u00a0<\/span>d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude des trajectoires de soins;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">Proposent des ateliers scientifiques sur l\u2019exploitation de la cohorte;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"fr\">Partagent les avanc\u00e9es m\u00e9thodologiques issues de leurs travaux;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ont obtenu plus de 2 M$ en subventions de recherche et en bourses pour \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants gradu\u00e9s compl\u00e9mentaires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/statistique.quebec.ca\/recherche\/#\/nous-joindre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Find a platform to access research data<\/a><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More security and privacy The research community in Quebec has special access to microdata from ISQ surveys, in particular the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS), as well as administrative data from different ministries through the Centres d\u2019acc\u00e8s aux donn\u00e9es de l\u2019Institut de la statistique du Qu\u00e9bec (CADRISQ).
