They found convincing data for scalability in primary care in Quebec for 24 innovations.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>\u201cAssessing the scalability of innovations in primary care: a cross-sectional study\u201d emerged from a service proposal in response to a call from the QCFP at their second symposium. The project was led by Dr.\u00a0Ali Ben Charif, a postdoctoral fellow in the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec, in close collaboration with the members of our team of experts in <a href=\"https:\/\/unitesoutiensrapqc.ca\/composante\/recherche-sur-les-systemes-de-sante\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Research on health and social systems, knowledge application and implementation<\/a> and members of the QCFP.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Context<\/h2>\n\n<p>Primary care is an important link in a well-functioning health and social services system, and is at the centre of major reforms in many countries. Generally, countries with a strong primary care sector have better health outcomes at a lower cost. In light of this, it would be wise to ensure continuous improvement of primary care practices by identifying problems related to clinical practices and their determinants, and designing and implementing innovations to improve these practices and health outcomes.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>These innovations include management (63%), prevention (33%) and therapeutic (4%) interventions.
