{"id":10737,"date":"2021-08-31T13:28:49","date_gmt":"2021-08-31T17:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssaquebec.wp.vortexdev.comen\/news\/fonds-de-recherche-du-quebec-scholarship-a-focus-on-patient-oriented-research\/"},"modified":"2023-07-10T14:25:19","modified_gmt":"2023-07-10T18:25:19","slug":"fonds-de-recherche-du-quebec-scholarship-a-focus-on-patient-oriented-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssaquebec.wp.vortexdev.com\/en\/news\/fonds-de-recherche-du-quebec-scholarship-a-focus-on-patient-oriented-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec scholarship: a focus on patient-oriented research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scientifique-en-chef.gouv.qc.ca\/le-scientifique-en-chef\/les-fonds-de-recherche-du-quebec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec (FRQ)<\/a> and the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec invite students and researchers applying for a FRQ scholarship to participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/unitesoutiensrapqc.ca\/composante\/perfectionnement-professionnel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec fellowship program<\/a>.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p>To benefit from the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec fellowship program, applicants must apply to the Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec \u2013 Sant\u00e9 (FRQS) or the Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec \u2013 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et culture (FRQSC) scholarship competition. <strong>Applicants must check the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec program in the Partenariats section on their FRQnet application form.<\/strong> At the end of the competition, the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec will contact recipients to set up the support terms, if applicable.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec fellowship program?<\/h2>\n\n<p>This program aims to hone skills, develop unique expertise and expand the POR collaboration network for fellows, in line with the Unit\u2019s priority themes of frontline care, community care and integration of care pathways and services.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p>It gives fellows the opportunity to participate in training activities and science days and receive scientific communications grants. It also offers fellows the opportunity to collaborate on projects developed by the Unit\u2019s experts to integrate fellows into the network of POR experts in areas such as methodological development and patient and public involvement in the research process. Fellows can also connect with a community of practice and receive various forms of support and mentorship through a personal career development plan, as well as special access to internships and POR mentoring by experts.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Dr.\u00a0Alain Vanasse, scientific director of the Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec, invites applicants to apply: \u201cThere is a growing interest in POR and the scope of our program. We look forward to integrating more fellows this year.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Patient-oriented research: valuable expertise<\/h2>\n\n<p>Including patients in research projects is an approach that ultimately leads to improved care and services to the public.
