{"id":10694,"date":"2021-08-31T12:15:38","date_gmt":"2021-08-31T16:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssaquebec.wp.vortexdev.comen\/news\/call-for-applications-seeking-postdoctoral-fellow\/"},"modified":"2022-02-25T18:36:22","modified_gmt":"2022-02-25T22:36:22","slug":"call-for-applications-seeking-postdoctoral-fellow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssaquebec.wp.vortexdev.com\/en\/news\/call-for-applications-seeking-postdoctoral-fellow\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for applications: seeking postdoctoral fellow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our capacity development experts are currently working on two major projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>evaluation of the Unit\u2019s fellowship program<\/li>\n<li>development and implementation of a POR (patient-oriented research) competency framework, which will result in a training curriculum with a targeted and progressive training offer and recognized certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We would like to recruit a postdoctoral fellow who will be responsible for carrying out these two mandates.<br \/>\n<strong>Application deadline:<\/strong> July 10, 2020<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Environment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The selected applicant will have access to the expertise of the <a href=\"https:\/\/unitesoutiensrapqc.ca\/\">Unit\u00e9 de soutien SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec as well as that of <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cersspl.ca\/\">VITAM \u2013 Centre de recherche en sant\u00e9 durable<\/a>. VITAM offers an exceptional interdisciplinary training environment for emerging frontline researchers. The successfull applicant will also be integrated into the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fmed.ulaval.ca\/accueil\/\">Universit\u00e9 Laval\u2019s faculty of medicine<\/a>. Finally, they will have the opportunity to contribute to and participate in the various activities of the groups in which the researcher plays a major role, namely <a href=\"https:\/\/sporevidencealliance.ca\/\">the Evidence Alliance<\/a> and the Mayo Clinic.<\/p>\n<h2>Eligibility<\/h2>\n<p>Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field of specialization: <strong>measurement, evaluation or education.<\/strong> In addition, these individuals will undertake to contribute to the supervision of non-graduate and graduate students and work full-time on planned research activities.<\/p>\n<p>Preference will also be given to applicants who possess the following skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently and take a leadership role in projects<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong interpersonal and teamwork\/partnership skills<\/li>\n<li>Scientific rigour, synthesis and autonomy, integrity and generosity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Funding<\/h2>\n<p>Working conditions are those provided for in the collective agreement for postdoctoral fellows at Universit\u00e9 Laval on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) for a 12-month period.
