Composed of 13 Institutes, the CIHR collaborates with partners and researchers to support discoveries and innovations that improve Canadians\u2019 health and improve the health care system.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTo implement POR in Canada, the CIHR has concluded funding partnerships with the provinces and territories, philanthropic organizations, teaching institutions and health charities. The result: Canada\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/Afin de concr\u00e9tiser la recherche ax\u00e9e sur le patient au Canada, les IRSC ont conclu des partenariats de financement avec les provinces et territoires, des organisations philanthropiques, des \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement et des organismes de bienfaisance dans le domaine de la sant\u00e9. Le r\u00e9sultat? Each PBRN is under the responsibility of a department of family medicine and emergency medicine at Universit\u00e9 Laval, McGill University, Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al or Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n                    \n\n\n<div class=\"block-accordion \">\n    <span class=\"block-accordion__label\">Accordion<\/span>\n    <h3 class=\"block-accordion__title\">Oncopole<\/h3>\n    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oncopole.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oncopole<\/a> is a Quebec research, development and investment hub advancing the fight against cancer. Created in February 2017, Oncopole is the result of a unique co-creation effort by the Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec \u2013 Sant\u00e9 (FRQS). Oncopole\u2019s mission is to act as a catalyst for actions rolled out by Quebec\u2019s oncological research and innovation ecosystem and to position the province as a leader in the field.
